Astoria nodded, knowing that there was no point to press on. She was curious, of course, wanting to know what was going on. But being the younger, she wasn't given any type of valuable information. And Astoria was not going to resort to begging. That was way low in her standards. Begging was for beggars. Beggars were poor and dirty, which she wasn't. It was all those Gryffindorks that were like that. They were the beggars here at Hogwarts, who brought along their putrid smell to Hogwarts. It was absolutely disgusting and revolting.
"Well I'm always here to talk or listen if like Pansy is busy or something," she shrugged, not knowing what else to say. She couldn't be any help to her sister if she had no clue what was going on. No matter how much she wanted to help, she knew that Daphne was not willing to give up the information she was holding so dear. She assumed that her close group of friends knew or at least had an idea. Other than those few people, she doubted that anyone else knew. She wondered if Marcus knew, seeing that he was in the same year as Daphne. She would have to ask later when she saw him.
Astoria felt her cheeks burn up at the mention of Marcus. "Oh nothing," she started with a wave of her hand. She looked away from her sister real quick. "We're just talking thats all." At least that was part of the truth. She was being honest but just withholding some information. She should've known that her sister would figure it out about her and Marcus. She was best friends with the gossip queen of the school who had gone through a miraculous transformation over the summer.
She turned back to her sister. "And what about you and Theo?" she asked. That smile on Daphne's face made it obvious that she was just thinking about him.
