Goyle had just came back from the kitchen for he needed a quick snack. He was always hungry it seemed though he had been keeping a close eye on his eating habit. He wanted to make sure that he was somewhat fit instead of overweight person he was when he was younger. The less confident Goyle that was just a shadow of Draco Malfoy. He didn't want to be that Goyle anymore. He wanted to be a confident Goyle who was dating the girl of his dreams, Millicent, and ruling the world along side of her instead of always being second best compared to Draco. Though Draco had no idea that this was what was going through his head. Draco thought that nothing went through his head, being considered stupid for most of his life.
Goyle actually needed to finish up his Potions essay that Slughorn had assigned. But as always, he didn't want to do it for Potions wasn't his best subject. There really wasn't a subject that he was exactly good at it. He wasn't all that great in DADA and he was dreadful with creatures. Potions could go much worse and he had a hard enough time transfiguring an animal into a cup, something he was suppose to learn a while ago. Even though he had trouble with his classes, he did succeed in passing the important OWLs with acceptable grades. That was something to be proud of though the stupid mudblood Granger probably beat him. A mudblood being better than a pureblood was ridiculous.
Goyle entered the Slytherin common room and took a seat on the couch in front of the fire. The common room was naturally cold and he was quite use to it after spending 6 years here. He sighed, running his fingers through his hair. He wondered what this year had in store for him. He was going to get married to Millicent and find a way into the Dark Lord's inner circle and gain his trust. More favor than he had in Draco, which shouldn't be that hard. He looked around the common room, wondering if someone was going to come in. It would be nice to socialize with a fellow Slytherin, who shared the same ideas as him or at least similar.
