Hermione sat in the library at a table by herself. She was surrounded by stacks of books and parchment. She was scribbling furiously on one piece titled Goblin Rebellions of 1665. She needed a couple more inches left and she would be done with that assignment. Then she would spend the next hour reading her favorite book though she had read it plenty of times that she had it memorized by heart now. That didn't bother her though for she absolutely loved Hogwarts: A History. She hoped that one day soon that they would come out with a revised edition. Hopefully soon with more information that she could suck up.
Hermione sighed, dotting the last period on her paper. It was done. It was finally done. She neatly put away the parchment, containing the History of Magic essay. She looked around at the mess that she had made with the stray papers and towers of books surrounding her. She collected the papers, putting them away for future use. And with a wave her wand, the books flew back to their places. Now that was much better, she thought. A neat and quiet atmosphere so she could read in. She looked around the library to see that it was mostly empty with the exception of a few students. It was during the day and she assumed that most students were outside. It was a nice day, she thought.
Hermione opened up her book, knowing that it was here that she wouldn't be bothered. Who in merlin's name would go to the library on a perfect day that had such amazing weather. No one in their right mind, she thought. Unfortunately, Hermione wasn't exactly in her right mind. And she actually preferred to read rather than play quidditch. It was more due to the fact that she couldn't fly on a broom or play quidditch at all. So she read instead while the others flew around on brooms.
